The Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometry (EDXRF) technique was used, and a rigorous comparison was made between the fundamental parameters (FP) method and the empirical (EMP) method. Statistical evaluation of results demonstrated that the FP method showed a satisfactory level of confidence for precision and limit of quantification.openAccessuraniumx-ray spectroscopyfluorescence spectroscopyradioactive wasteswaste managementX-ray fluorescence spectrometryArtigo de periódico1A1110.15392/2319-0612.2023.2144https://orcid.org/0000-0002-6462-4758https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2604-1225https://orcid.org/0000-0002-0606-4369Sem PercentilSem Percentil CiteScore
