PETAR, a natural park, was created in 1958 and is located in the southern region of São Paulo State, Brazil. Detectors were placed in the caves most visited by tourists. Committed effective doses due to thoron inhalation were evaluated for the tour guides of the PETAR caves, giving results between 0.07 mSv-y* and 0.22 mSv.y™.openAccessbrazilcavesradon 220ecological concentrationradiation dosesgas track detectorsexposure chambersThoron exposure in brazilian caves of Parque Estadual do Alto Ribeira - PETARTexto completo de eventohttps://orcid.org/0000-0001-7174-9703https://orcid.org/0000-0001-5641-1165
