This chamber was tested and calibrated in low-energy X-ray beams in accordance with international recommendations, and it showed a satisfactory level of performance, mainly with regard to its main use, namely formation of a tandem system for confirmation of half-value layers in X-radiation beams previously determined by the conventional method.
