In the preparations with laser of Er:YAG (Kavo Key Laser 2), any patient do not was anesthetized, even in the deepest cavities, and the maximum degree of pain (that varied from 0 to 10) it was of 4. In the group-control, with mounted tip in high conventional rotation, two patients were anesthetized, and the maximum degree of pain was of 7.
