So, considering the large volume of packages to be characterized, the sampling is a sensitive step. We intend to consider the financial and radiological protection cost, the radiological detriment and the foundations of the ALARA to determine a method to calculate the ideal number of samples applicable to the characterization of radioactive waste and complementary to classical statistics method. Thus, we will define a tool for making more legitimate decisions.openAccessValue of information as a criterion for sample size determination in radioactivewaste characterizationResumo de eventos cientÃficos
