The obtained material was characterized by EDX and XRD and tested for ethanol electrooxidation in acid medium using chronoamperometry. The X-ray diffractogram of assynthesized PtSnCu/C electrocatalyst showed typical face-centered cubic (fcc) structure of Pt alloy and after acid treatment it was observed that the Pt (fcc) structure was preserved.
