The X-ray crystal diffraction indicates that the Tb3+-complex crystallizes in a triclinic crystal system and space group , forming a 1D polymer where carboxylate groups bridge the Tb3+ ions. The photoluminescence data revel that the ligands act as efficient “antennas” sensitizing the luminescence of the Tb3+ ion showing a strong green emission color arising from intraconfigurational 5D4 → 7FJ transitions (J = 0–6).867-872openAccesspolymersterbiumsynthesisphotoluminescencex radiationNovel unexpected Tbsup(3+) coordination polymer containing two carboxylate ligants: Syntheses, structure and photoluminescent propertiesArtigo de periódico1010.1016/j.inoche.2007.04.013https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7028-0878
