The irradiation was carried out in a dose rate of 5.25 and 5.30 kGy/h, respectively. The polymers obtained were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and gel permeation chromatography (GPC). Tests of density, hardness and Vicat softening temperature were carried out.251-254openAccesspolyvinylspolymerizationionizing radiationsgamma radiationcobalt 60chemical radiation effectsmolecular structureinfrared spectratransition temperaturePolymerization of vinyl acetate in bulk and emulsion by gamma irradiationTexto completo de evento10.1016/j.radphyschem.2004.03.048https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7968-2117
