Artigo IPEN-doc 22608 The effect of niobium on the oxidation behaviour of fully austenitic Fe-15%Cr-15%Ni stainless steels1995 - RAMANATHAN, L.V.; POHL, M.; PADILHA, A.F.The influence of niobium content (0.5-2.0 wt.%) on the oxidation behaviour of Fe-15% Cr-15% Ni austenitic stainless steels has been studied by cyclic oxidation tests in air at different temperatures in the range 800-1200 ºC. The isothermal oxidation rate, the scaling index and the cumulative oxide loss decreased with increasing niobium content. X-ray diffraction and fluorescence analysis of detached oxide scales revealed that the niobium in the alloy matrix facilitated the formation of chromium rich (Fe,Cr)203 and niobium containing mixed oxide near the metaumetal oxide boundary, which decreased further oxidation. SEM/EDX investigations revealed that the external oxide changed from being predominantly iron rich iron-chromium oxide to being chromium rich iron-chromium oxide.Artigo IPEN-doc 16755 Resistance to recrystallization in Al-1% Mn alloys1996 - PIMENTA JUNIOR, FERNANDO C.; ARRUDA, ANTONIO C.F.; PADILHA, ANGELO F.Artigo IPEN-doc 07359 Grain subdivision and recrystallization in oligocrystalline tantalum during cold swaging and subsequent annealing1999 - SANDIM, H.R.Z.; PADILHA, A.F.; RANDLE, V.; BLUM, W.Artigo IPEN-doc 02728 Comparative study of the recrystallization of pure niobium and Nb-1 wt. percent Zr alloy1995 - SICILIANO JUNIOR, F.; MONTEIRO, W.A.; PADILHA, A.F.Artigo IPEN-doc 04463 Influence of niobium on stacking-fault energy of all-austenite stainless steels1992 - MARTINEZ, L.G.; IMAKUMA, K.; PADILHA, A.F.Artigo IPEN-doc 16756 The influence of cold working and recrystallization on the homogenization of As-cast Cu-50 wt.% Ni alloy1997 - NOGUEIRA, REJANE A.; PADILHA, ANGELO F.
