| dc.description.abstract | Adsorption characteristics of zeolite synthesized from fly ash with the magnetic properties of iron oxides were combined in a composite to produce magnetic materials adsorbents. The zeolite:iron oxide magnetic composite was prepared with weight ratio of 2:1. The experimental data of equilibrium isotherms for metal ion Cd2+ and methylene blue dye onto the composite were modeled using isotherms by Freundlich and Langmuir. The presence of iron oxide did not affect the adsorption capacity of the magnetic composites. | |
