dc.description.abstractThe work presented in this paper illustrates the analytical benchmark philosophy with applications to subcritical source-driven system dynamics. Results for different complexity problems are presented in the frame of multigroup diffusion theory. The analysis performed on systems having physical characteristics typical of the Yalina Booster experiment are presented. The comparisons with the results of numerical calculations enlighten the convergence trend of discretized schemes and the limits of applicability to the analysis of experiments.
