| dc.description.abstract | Gold nanoparticles may act as a photosensitizing agent in photodynamic therapy (PDT). In this work we propose to synthesize gold nanoparticles (5-ALA: AuNPs) and gold with iron (5-ALA: AuFeNPs), functionalized with the incorporation of aminolevulinic acid (5-ALA).
