dc.description.abstractA pilot study involving instrumental analytical techniques (XRF, FTIR, and Raman) was performed to investigate twenty-two wood species from Rolim de Moura (Rondônia), with the goal of creating a spectral database to identify wood species to be exported from Brazil. The results are promising and may help authorities identify illegal timber exports.
