Concentrations up to 647 mBq. l –1 and 741 mBq. l –1 were observed for 226Ra and 228Ra, whereas 210Pb concentrations reached 85 mBq. l –1. Average committed effective doses of 1.3. 10–2 mSv. y–1 for 226Ra, 3.4. 10–2 mSv. y–1 for 228Ra and 9.4. 10–3 mSv. y–1 for 210Pb were estimated for the ingestion of these waters. A collective dose of 90 manSv was evaluated, considering the annual production of the bottled mineral waters analyzed in this study.Artigo IPEN-doc 07814 Dose estimate and risk assessment due to the ingestion of sup(226)Ra, sup(228)Ra and sup(222)Rn in driking water supplies of Sao Paulo State-Brazil1999 - OLIVEIRA, J.; MAZZILLI, B.P.; SAMPA, M.H.O.; BAMBALAS, E.
