Resumo
The transporto f radionuclides to use in the nuclear medicine needs some care in such
way that people will be safety . For this, its used any security measures. One of this is
shielding of heavy materials such as uranium, technetium and lead. This work talk
about the process of the process of choosing uranium as a shielding material for
radionuclides such as Mo-99, used in the manufacture of technetium generators for
the diagnosis of cancer and other diseases, as well as the processes used to assemble
the shield.
