One of this is shielding of heavy materials such as uranium, technetium and lead. This work talk about the process of the process of choosing uranium as a shielding material for radionuclides such as Mo-99, used in the manufacture of technetium generators for the diagnosis of cancer and other diseases, as well as the processes used to assemble the shield.
